Happy Thursday lovebugs! And with Thursday comes thankfulness! I don’t know about you, but I am just so taken back by the evolvement of my Thankful Thursday posts! (You can read my first TT post HERE, as I die of shame.) I mean I’ve only been doing them for a couple months, and just within that time, my writing style has morphed into complete awesomeness ;) that’s one thing I’m thankful for! Haha!
Anywho, if you’ve been keeping up with the craziness, then you know that all month long, well on Tuesdays rather, I will be discussing moms and careers. So make sure you tune in every Twosday Twinsday for the What Would Mommie Do: The Career-Minded Mom series!!
SIDENOTE: THIS POST is a great read if you’re a mom, if you’re not working, or if you are trying to figure out your life. There’s tips for everybody! Wee don’t discriminate ’round these parts. ENDNOTE.
And, if you haven’t been keeping up with the craziness… Here’s your chance!

But, my point in saying all this… Sorry! I definitely went on a huge tangent there, my bad! But, my point is that I started this mini-series after I made the decision to go back to work. Yeah, I know. Bummer!
To make such a huge decision though, I had to talk to God to direct my steps. And with that, I learned that I have to be content with where I am right now. Only then while he continue to bless me with what he already has mapped out for my life.
So, even though it’s not Twosday Twinsday, I wanted to add to the W.W.M.D. series with this post. If you’re gonna work, or not work, you have to be content with whatever your current sitch is.
Sitch is short for situation, just FYI.

Ephesians 6:18 | Pray continually.
Communicating with him regularly will help you become closer with him. Just think about it. If your always talking to the tour guide, sitting next to them, and asking all sorts of annoying questions along the way, you’re sure to get some inside info!
Godly networking, people! That’s business 101 right there! ;)
1 Corinthians 11:1 | Be like Him.
Follow in his footsteps. Stupid Happy is what stupid happy does. Plain and simple.
Luke 6:37 | Judge not, and you won’t be judged.
Passing judgement on others for what’s going on in their lives only slows you down from getting to where you want to be in life.
SIDENOTE: Don’t you just hate it when there’s a huge accident on the highway and traffic slows down to a whopping 2 mph because people are too busy being nosey, breaking their necks wondering what’s going on?! Yeah, same concept here! ENDNOTE.
Isaiah 41:10 | God’s got your back.
Having faith is super important! Trust that god has a plan for your life, even if you can’t see it.

I just love that pic! Perf visualization! (Sorry, for all the abbrevs. I’m typing on my iPad and it’s just way easier to make things flow when I use them! And it makes me sound hip!)
1 Chronicles 16:34 | Show thanks.
…regardless of your sitch. <– another abbrev! You got that one, huh!
So ladies and gentleman, I will now step off of my soapbox! I hope I was able to share just a little bit of enlightenment with you. This was something that has been on my mind, especially with the decision that I recently made.
For those of you that don’t know much about me, I work in food service management. So many times, I’m the victim of people’s judgement, thinking that I’m just another burger flipper, or waitress so to speak. Little do they know, it’s much more than that and the opportunity that I have been given is such a blessing. That’s why I made sure I added that tip about passing judgement ;) Anywho, I’ve given you a glimpse into my life and daily thoughts. Now it’s your turn!

Do you struggle with contentment? What are your tips for living a happy, fulfilled life?

I really want to hear your thoughts on this one guys! I know I’m not the only one out there who thinks of these things! Let me knowwwwwww! Mmmuah! Happy Thursday! With Love, M&W.

I REALLY hate I didn’t read this yesterday because that’s when I really needed it………..but I was super busy preparing for my thesis presentation…….which went very well….so I’m thankful for that and I’m also thankful that I’m almost finished with school…………….anywhoo….I desperately needed to read this because I’m struggling with the sitch right now. I HATE MY JOB!!! I used to love it, but some where down the line I lost my passion for it (that’s a story for another day). So I’ve been praying and begging God to move me IMMEDIATELY, but HE’S NOT DOING IT, so I’m struggling with being content until He does…with that said, I’ll be printing these scriptures to include in my daily study! Thanks for sharing!!!

This is so true, Chelsea. I find that I do struggle, and realize it is a very human trait. I realize that I need to trust God and rely on Him, as His perspective is so much more eternal than my own. Thank you for the great reminder! I missed the Pinfest last night. I looked for it without success. Bummer! Hope you have a great weekend!
