A DAY IN THE LIFE | AUGUST 2014
August has come and gone quicker than I had hoped. I always like for August to stick around because the end of August means the beginning of reality.
Doesn’t it just seem like life is so much better during the summer time?!
I just love the weather, the escapes, and the feeling of freedom that summer brings. And with Labor Day just around the corner, it’s time to wave good-bye to August and all the joy that it brings.
But that’s okay! Just one day closer to Libra season!
Earlier this month, I went to take some pictures. I usually take pictures of my babies, or of our family. I take so many, I’ve learned to perfect my at-home shoots. Find out how you can too HERE.
So this time, I decided to do something for me.
My sistuh girl took these pictures for me, so huge shout out to her and Right Lens Photography.
Didn’t she do a great job?! No SLR camera or anything!
SIDENOTE: I think it is so important for moms to focus on their own self-esteem. As a new mom, I’ve been struggling with this, which is weird for me. You can read more about that though. Just click HERE. ENDNOTE.
This month brought a lot of travels too!!
Well, probably not a lot to the average person. But to me, getting out of the house just to get to the grocery store is a hassle.
So, needless to say, I was super excited for a road trip.
I learned how to fish! It was actually pretty soothing.
I didn’t touch the worms though. I’m not about that life.
We visited both grandmas this month!!
And you wonder why it’s so hard to say goodbye to
When I was younger, I loved to go to my grandma’s house. So, I’m happy that both sides of grandparents are able to spend time with my girls.
These really are the moments that I live for. The little snippets in life that are so ordinary, yet so unforgettable.
This month was filled with adventure, fun, travels, and family. It couldn’t have been any more perfect if you ask me!
On the blog, I had a few adventures too!
